Dear MSS Members, Students, Speakers, and Vendors,
2012 has gotten off to a great start with an outstanding January meeting. The February meeting promises to be equally exciting with Dr. Darla Granger lecturing on renal transplants.
The board is hard at work finalizing plans for our 36th annual Spring Symposium at Greektown Casino on April 20-21st. If you will be staying at the Greektown Casino Hotel, please be reminded that you will need to make your reservations with the hotel by March 29, 2012 and use the group code “MSS2012” to receive the discounted room rate. You will also need to register for Symposium by the same date (March 29th) to receive the early registration fee. Details are on the website and brochures will also be mailed out.
It is that time of year that we begin accepting nominations for the 2012/2013 MSS Executive Board positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. As a member, it is important that you participate in selecting the best candidates to direct our society and ensure its continued success. Nomination forms are available on the website Meetings and Events Page at www.mss1.org and must be submitted by February 22, 2012.
