Welcome Back!! Our first meeting of 2010 was exceptional. Dr. Edwards’ lecture and information on Breast Ultrasound was exceptional. As sonographers we need to keep up on what is happening in our field, especially when it impacts our profession. A Big Thank You to Cheri Betz and Siena Heights, for sponsoring the January 2010 meeting. Many sonographers, including myself, have continued onto a Bachelors degree from Siena Heights. I encourage all of you to explore that avenue for yourselves. Rachel LaPinta’s case on choroid plexus papiloma was very interesting. Goes to show how many things many of us do not see. I can’t say this enough; we need an interesting case presentation at every meeting. Don’t be shy, give it a try! The next meeting is on February 17, 2010 at Providence Hospital in Southfield. The meeting will be on Fetal Echography presented by Rizwana Fareeduddin, MD and sponsored by our very own past president Liz Lawrence from Choice One. The 34th Annual Spring Symposium will be April 23 and 24, 2010 at the Soaring Eagle Casino. You should receive a brochure within the next few weeks.
