Dear MSS Members, Students, Speakers, and Vendors,
May is here and another great MSS year has come to an end. The year concluded with another phenomenal Annual Spring Symposium held at Greektown Casino Hotel in Detroit. Special thanks go out to the Speakers, Vendors, and MSS Board members who worked so very hard to make the symposium a success. Attendees enjoyed lectures on many topics presented by renowned speakers and left with valuable knowledge to take back to their respective labs. The Board has already begun planning the 2013 Annual Spring Symposium which will be held on April 19 & 20, 2013 at the Detroit Marriott Troy Hotel in Troy, Michigan. Be sure to save the date!
We have selected the winner of our “name the 2013 slogan” contest. Congratulations to Sonya Knoll for creating the foundation of our new slogan which will be: “Sound Resolution is Supreme in 2013”.
It has been a pleasure serving as President this year and I look forward to continuing in that role for 2012/13. I wish you a wonderful Spring and Summer and look forward to seeing you at our kickoff meeting in September!
